About Ms.HernandezWelcome! My name is Ms.Hernandez and as stated above I am a 2nd grade dual language teacher in an urban district. I am certified Pre-K - 3rd grade and have a certificate in English As A Second Language (ESL). I also have classes in Montessori education and I worked at a Montessori School for 3 years prior to teaching 2nd grade.
My passion is in teaching and I am always looking how to better support my students. When I am not teaching I am relaxing at home catching up on my Neflix shows and playing with my dog, Sandy. On my breaks I enjoy traveling especially to see my family in Costa Rica. |
About Ms.FritzHello, my name is Ms. Fritz, and I am a second grade dual language teacher, English component, in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. I am certified kindergarten through eighth grade, and have a Masters Degree in curriculum instruction and technology. I have been in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for twenty three years, teaching a wide range of grade levels and subject areas, and I have spent my whole career teaching students who are English language learners. I am constantly educating myself in new strategies for not only my English language learners, but all my students. I believe that giving students as many possible opportunities to grow and learn on their own provides them with the best education and the best possible outcomes for a bright future. I love reading books, studying, playing games with family and friends, and online puzzle and word games, basketball, cooking, music, walking, and cuddling with my dog Charlie. During breaks from school, I love to swim, travel, and visit my family in Pennsylvania. No matter what time of the year it is, I love reading, learning from other teachers, taking classes, and figuring out more ways to help my students be the very best students and people they can be.
